Privacy Policy for ReclaimIt

ReclaimIt (the “App”) is operated by Eugenio Keller Puente (freelancer, Spain). I value your privacy and designed this App to minimize data collection. This Privacy Policy explains what data is handled, how it is used, where it is stored, and your rights under applicable laws (including GDPR).

2. What ReclaimIt Does

ReclaimIt helps you reclaim storage space by reviewing photos in a fast, habit-forming way (swipe to keep or discard), including the ability to review past days (up to 30 days) and build streaks.

3. What Information the App Handles

ReclaimIt does not require an account or login. The App is designed to work offline and keeps your photo content on your device.

• Photos (On-Device Access): With your permission, the App accesses your Photos Library to show you photos for review and lets you decide what to keep or delete. The App does not upload your photos anywhere.
• Deletion Behavior: When you delete a photo using the App, the photo is deleted from your library and moved by iOS/Photos to the “Recently Deleted” album, where it may remain for up to 30 days (Apple/Photos behavior). ReclaimIt also shows a confirmation step (double prompt) before deletion.
• Local App Data: The App may store local settings and progress (e.g., streaks, reminders preferences, and “items reviewed” counters). This information is stored locally on your device.

The App does not collect or store your name, email address, contacts, location data, advertising identifiers, or your photo content.

4. Permissions

ReclaimIt may request the following permissions, only if you choose to enable them:

• Photos: Required to display and let you manage photos (review, keep, or delete). Photos remain on your device.
• Notifications (Optional): Used to send you reminders at your chosen time to review your daily photos. You can enable/disable notifications at any time in iOS settings.

The App does not request access to Contacts, Location, Camera, Microphone, Calendar, or background processing.

5. Anonymous Usage Signals (Button Click Counts)

To improve the App experience, ReclaimIt may send anonymous button-click counts to kubographics.com to build a simple heatmap of which UI actions are used most often. This signal is limited to aggregated counts (e.g., “Button X was tapped N times”).

These signals are designed to avoid personal data. They are not linked to you, your Photos Library, your device identifier, or advertising identifiers. I do not use third-party analytics SDKs in the App.

6. Purchases & Payments

ReclaimIt is free to download with a limited experience (e.g., up to 3 cleanups). A one-time in-app purchase unlocks the premium version. Purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit under Apple’s terms and privacy policy. Prices may vary by country, and refunds are handled solely through Apple: Apple Support.

The App supports Restore Purchases using Apple’s systems.

7. Storage & Security

• On-Device: Your photos remain in your Photos Library. ReclaimIt does not upload photos.
• Local App Storage: Streaks, preferences, and counters are stored locally on your device.
• Security: Security of your data relies on Apple’s platform standards for iOS.
• Deletion: You can delete photos via the App (subject to iOS/Photos behavior), and you can reset local progress/settings in the App’s Settings (if provided).

8. Children & Age

ReclaimIt is intended for adults. The App does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Since the App does not require accounts and keeps content on-device, users remain in control of their own Photos Library.

9. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you may have rights to access, rectify, or erase your personal data. Because ReclaimIt does not store your photo content on servers and keeps most information on-device, you can manage data directly by reviewing/deleting photos, resetting local app data (if provided), or uninstalling the App.

For any privacy concerns, contact: contact@kubographics.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Spain, this is the AEPD (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).

10. Cookies & Website

The App does not use cookies. The ReclaimIt product page (link) does not set tracking or analytics cookies.

11. Changes to this Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in features or legal requirements. The “Effective Date” above will always show the latest version.
