Privacy Policy for DayTrace
Effective Date: Sep 17, 2025
DayTrace (the “App”) is operated by Eugenio Keller Puente (freelancer, Spain). I value your privacy and designed this App to minimize data collection. This Privacy Policy explains what data is handled, how it is used, where it is stored, and your rights under applicable laws (including GDPR).
1. Who is the Data Controller?
Data Controller: Eugenio Keller Puente (freelancer, Spain)
Contact: contact@kubographics.com
Product Site: www.kubographics.com/daytrace.html
2. What Information the App Handles
DayTrace is a personal productivity app where all information is entered by you, the user. The App does not generate or collect personal data automatically.
- Tracker Data (Local): Your events, habits, and timers are stored locally on your device using Core Data. No one else has access to this information.
- Purchases: iCloud/Apple systems are used only to restore in-app purchases (unlimited trackers and widgets). App data itself is not synced via iCloud.
The App does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, crash analytics, IP addresses, or device identifiers.
3. Permissions
The App does not request access to personal system permissions such as location, health, microphone, or notifications.
4. Purchases & Payments
DayTrace is free to download with a limited version (1 tracker and 1 widget). A one-time in-app purchase unlocks unlimited trackers and up to 8 widgets. Purchases are processed by Apple under their own terms and privacy policy. Prices may vary by country, and refunds are handled solely through Apple: Apple Support.
5. Storage & Security
- Local Storage: All tracker data remains stored locally on your device.
- Encryption: Security of your data relies on Apple’s platform standards for iOS.
- Deletion: Data is removed when you delete it yourself or uninstall the App.
6. Children & Age
DayTrace is designed for general use. The App does not intentionally collect data from children and does not require personal information to function. All content is created and stored privately by the user.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under GDPR, you may have rights to access, rectify, or erase your data. Because DayTrace stores all data locally on your device, you can manage it directly by deleting trackers or uninstalling the App. For any concerns, contact: contact@kubographics.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Spain, this is the AEPD (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).
8. Cookies & Website
The App does not use cookies. The DayTrace product page (link) does not set tracking or analytics cookies.
9. Changes to this Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in features or legal requirements. The “Effective Date” above will always show the latest version.
