Terms and Conditions for SpinFable

Welcome to SpinFable! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SpinFable mobile application (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Family Use & Responsibility

SpinFable is designed for families, to be used by adults who read to their children. By using the App, you confirm that you are an adult or have permission from a parent/guardian. Although the App aims to produce family-friendly content, we recommend that adults review each story before showing it to children. When creating a story, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and the policies linked in the App.

3. License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not modify, copy, reverse-engineer, distribute, rent, lease, sell, or sublicense the App or any part of it.

4. Stories, Content & Usage Rights

Generated Content. The App can generate stories, cover images, and optional audio narration (via third-party services). Unless expressly stated otherwise, all generated content is for personal, non-commercial use only.
Sharing. Story sharing features are not available at this time.
Appropriate Use. You agree not to use the App to create, request, or attempt to obtain harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content.

5. Credits, Purchases & Refunds

The App uses credit packs (In-App Purchases) to create stories and/or narrated stories. There are no subscriptions.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Prices may vary by region according to Apple policies. Refunds are handled solely under Apple’s policy: Apple Support.
Credit Persistence. Purchased credits are associated with your Apple ID/iCloud and remain available if you delete and reinstall the App (subject to App availability and your access to the same Apple ID).
Gift Credits. The 20 welcome credits granted on first launch are complimentary and do not persist if the App is uninstalled before using them.

6. Third-Party Services

SpinFable uses third-party services—such as OpenAI—to generate text, images/covers, and audio narration. When you use these features, necessary data (e.g., prompts/text and, if you enable narration with microphone, audio signals) may be transmitted to those providers to deliver the service.

7. Privacy & Data

We aim to minimize data collection. Credits and library state are associated with your Apple ID via Apple systems (e.g., iCloud). We do not receive personal data from Apple about your identity. For details, please review the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all devices/OS versions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.

10. Termination & Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or certain features at any time without notice.
We may revoke access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms. The “Last Updated” date reflects the latest changes.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The competent courts in Spain shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that may grant you additional rights in your country of residence.
